NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING

PROPOSED BUILDING BY-LAW AMENDMENTS

 

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Carling will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers to inform the public with respect to proposed building by-law amendments under Section 7 of the Building Code Act, S.O. 2006, c19.

 

THE PURPOSE of the proposed by-law amendments are to increase fees or charges on any class of permits for services or activities provided on behalf of it, and to otherwise update the by-law.

 

THE EFFECT of the proposed building by-law amendments are to offset expenditures incurred in the Building Department, and to bring the by-law up-to-date with various changes to the Building Code Act and departmental procedures.

 

ANY PERSON may attend the Public Meeting and make written and/or verbal representation either in support of or against the proposed building by-law amendments.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION is available at Carling Township Municipal Office, which is located at 2 West Carling Bay Road, (corner of Highway 559 and West Carling Bay Road) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Waste Disposal Site Attendant 

Two (Student) Waste Site Attendants:

Commencing May 20, 2017 working weekends alternating Saturday and Sunday up to and including June 25, 2017. Commencing June 26, 2017 working 40 hours per week July and August. Weekend work is mandatory.
ALL STUDENT APPLICANTS MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGE OF 16 AND 29 REGISTERED AS A FULL TIME STUDENT THE PRECEDING YEAR AND RETURNING AS A FULL TIME STUDENT THE NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR.

 

One Waste Site Attendant:

(26) weeks, 40 hours per week
April 29, 2017 to October 29, 2017 inclusive. Weekend work is mandatory.

Must have your own transportation. Green labeled work boots required, training and other safety apparel will be provided.
